got my wisdom teeth out today, and my mouth is still a tad numb on the right side :( mouth tastes yucky, and the dissolving thread they used to stitch my gums wasn't cut short enough. i think i pulled some out when i first woke up after surgery, but i don't think it was connected to anything in my mouth since it was loose to the point where I didn't have to yank it, it was sorta just sitting on my tongue if i remember right.

BUT!!!! the hygienists and the doctor were all super kind!! one of them even fulfilled my request of playing some gorillaz for me before i went under, so i got to relax a little before surgery :) i got to see my heart rate on a monitor in front of me, which i found really entertaining. something about observing what my body is doing and how it does it in real time is fascinating to me. i goofed around with it by holding my breath to see if my heart rate would drop at all, (obviously it did, shocker) but i quit it once i realized that the hygienists could hear the beeping. didn't wanna scare them/get in trouble so i cut it out.

anyway i'll make an update tomorrow. hopefully my face doesn't get swell too much!!!!

i think what initially brought up some anxiety about driving was my dad taking me to a teeny tiny parking lot that was number one: full

and number two: located next to a park where a family was having a birthday parking and watching a jeep shifting back and forth sporadically

i just need to start drivers ed. i want to drive and have the freedom that driving comes with, but i don't want to control a car i guess :/

any tips for how to kinda get over this anxiety around driving? :)

Another yearly NG appointment, how's everyone doing???

I feel like I always remember to check back in over the summer, school is always super hectic during the school year. Looking back at post blog posts is silly, like my most recent one before today saying "yooo I'm gonna be a junior what!!!". Brother, I had no clue what was coming, junior year hit me like a fucking truck fr, and I still feel like I'm getting over that year's burnout.

I took two AP classes: AP US History, and AP Language.

APUSH was both the worst class I've ever taken, but also probably my favorite. The work load was atrocious, and I had to teach myself how to study effectively, and get used to doing homework every single night; but I don't regret a single thing, because all of those skills are gonna be SUPER handy both for this school year, (taking AP Literature) and for once I get to college.

I'll try to be at least a little more present around here, posting art here and there :)
